Shandong First Medical University

Shandong First Medical University is a key university in Shandong Province, as well as a medical science research institution in Shandong Province. It is one of the first batch of pilot universities of Excellent doctor Education and training program, and the construction unit of Shandong Characteristic famous University Project, which is implemented by Shandong Provincial Department of Education, Shandong Provincial Health Commission and Jinan Municipal People's Government.By February 2021, the University has campuses in Jinan and Tai 'an, and research institutes in Jinan, Qingdao, Jining and other places, covering a total area of over 6,000 mu. It has 32 teaching institutions, 5 scientific research institutions and 5 auxiliary teaching institutions. It has 45 undergraduate specialties, 1 post-doctoral research workstation, 1 first-level doctoral degree authorization, 9 second-level doctoral degree authorization, 5 first-level master degree authorization, a total of 67 master degree authorization. There are 22027 full-time undergraduate students, 2100 graduate students and 591 international students. There are more than 14,070 faculty members, including 6 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.It has 13 directly affiliated hospitals and 22 non-affiliated hospitals, among which 18 are third-grade grade A general hospitals and 8 are third-grade grade A specialized hospitals.
