Central Conservatory of Music

Central Conservatory of Music(CCOM), founded in 1940, an institution of high learning for cultivating the senior specialized music talents, the only one conservatory listed in the key universities and colleges of “211 Project” in China, is the palace of art attracting both music talents at home and abroad. During the past 70 years, the conservatory has established a well-developed and equipped teaching management team, and a number of experts and scholars with outstanding contribution in teaching and academic research sprung up, which attracted a large number of domestic and foreign talented young musicians, and trained tens of thousands of domestic talents and hundreds of excellent foreign students, most of which have become the renowned composers, musicologists, music educators, and music performance artists at home and abroad.
