Shandong University of the Arts was founded in 1958. It is located in Jinan, a historical and cultural city surrounded by famous springs. It is a university jointly established by the Shandong Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It has master's degree authorization points for all first-level disciplines and professional degree categories under the category of art. It is a Class A unit for the project construction of doctoral degree granting in Shandong Province from 2024 to 2029.
