Beijing University of Economics and Management

Beijing Vocational College of Economics and Management (Beijing Management College) is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, registered by the Ministry of Education and supervised by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. In 1998, our school was approved by the Ministry of Education as an institution with the qualification of receiving foreign students, and it is the first adult university in China to obtain this qualification. Since 2000, the University has set up the Department of International Students, the School of International Cultural Exchange and the School of International Education to comprehensively promote the work of studying in China. In 2021, according to the development needs, the school has made some institutional adjustments, integrating the former International Education College into the Training College as a whole, and establishing the International Training Department of the Training College, which will carry out a variety of international training in a broader field in the future. Up to now, the college has provided Chinese language and professional skills training to more than 17,000 international students from more than 100 countries. In 2003, the school became a national HSK test center. In 2018, at the release of the 2018 Annual Report on the Quality of Higher Vocational Education in China, our university was awarded the "Top 50 International Influence" of national higher vocational colleges. International cooperation project In 1999, it signed a cooperation agreement with French IGS Education Group to hold a credit course of "Chinese Business and Culture". In 2002, it cooperated with Liverpool JOHN MOORES UNIVERSITY in the United Kingdom to offer undergraduate education. In 2003, in cooperation with the Central Language Institute of Thailand, the "China-Asean Free Trade Area Research Institute" was established, with two campuses in Beijing and Bangkok to conduct high-end business training, creating a first for Beijing vocational colleges to establish branch schools abroad. In 2005, a cooperation and exchange agreement was signed with South Korea's Southeast Health University. In 2006, it became a sister school with Daejin University of Korea. In 2007, with the approval of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and the record of the Ministry of Education, it launched a Sino-foreign cooperative education project with Liverpool JOHN MOORES UNIVERSITY in the United Kingdom. In 2009, he and Bellevue College of the United States jointly launched a study abroad cooperation project. In 2010, cooperated with Suncheon University of South Korea to carry out short-term training and practical training projects in winter and summer. In 2011, cooperated with South Korea Hanharmonic Business Consulting Co., Ltd. to conduct Chinese language training for Chinese business experts. In 2012, it signed a cooperation training agreement with Hong Kong International School to carry out short-term summer school training. In 2012, we cooperated with Japan's Sakurameilin University to carry out the summer Chinese enterprise and culture training project. In 2014, the University of Bolton (UOB) and the United Kingdom launched an inter-university cooperation exchange. In 2017, it signed cooperation agreements with Northern University of Bangkok, Thailand, University of Jersten, Malaysia, and Northwest University of Thailand to carry out multi-level and multi-dimensional cooperation in tourism management, business administration and other majors. In 2018, it signed a cooperation agreement with the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education (NCEE China) to establish "Beijing-London Business School" in London, UK.
