The College emphasizes morality, competence, norms, and innovation and is committed to serving all students, local economy, and the information industry. It is also working to integrate industry with education and seeking institutional innovation, and better education and teaching, to better serve relevant industries. The College has been cooperating with China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, Huawei, ZTE, H3C, Alibaba Cloud, Suning, NetDragon Websoft, and other leading firms for talent cultivation; it boasts two national high-level programs, four provincial high-level programs, and six national key programs, two national practice training bases, three national specialized teaching resource libraries, one industry-education integration platform of the National Development and Reform Commission, and one pilot among the first batch of modern apprenticeship projects identified by the Ministry of Education; it has received 25 prizes at the provincial level or above for teaching results, including four national prizes.
