Shenyang Urban Construction University

Shenyang Urban Construction University, formerly known as "Urban Construction College of Shenyang Jianzhu University", was founded in July 2000 and transformed into an independent ordinary university with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2013. The University is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, in the core area of Hunnan, a university town composed of many universities, with Shenyang Institute of Science and Technology, Xinglin College of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Northeastern University, Shenyang College of Physical Education, Liaoning Provincial Library, Liaoning Provincial Museum of Science and Technology, Liaoning Provincial Museum, in the center of Shenyang's new administrative and cultural district. As of March 2023, the school covers an area of 616,000 square meters and a construction area of more than 441,300 square meters. The library has a collection of more than 1.256 million volumes and more than 600,000 e-books. It has 14 teaching units, offering 32 undergraduate majors and 10 vocational college majors. There are 650 full-time teachers and more than 12,000 junior college students in the school.
