Hezhou University

Hezhou University, located in Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a full-time public undergraduate university organized by the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is one of the first cooperative universities of the project of ICT Industry-Education Integration Innovation Base between the Ministry of Education and Zhongxing Communication, and undertakes the "new engineering" research and practice project of the Ministry of Education. The school's history can be traced back to the Guangxi Pingle Normal School, which was founded in 1943 and has been renamed as He County Normal School, Wuzhou District Bbu Normal School, Bbu Hongwei Normal School, Wuzhou District Teacher Training College, Wuzhou District Education College, Wuzhou Teachers College and so on. In January 2004, Hezhou Normal School merged into Wuzhou Normal College. In February 2006, Hezhou College was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. In 2013 and 2019, it passed the undergraduate teaching qualification evaluation and audit evaluation of the Ministry of Education respectively. As of April 2023, the school has two campuses in the east and west, covering an area of 1294.31 mu; The total value of teaching and research equipment is 252 million yuan, and the collection of paper books is 1.773 million; It has 14 teaching units, 53 undergraduate majors and 18 junior college (higher vocational) majors.
