Yangzhou University (Yangzhou University), referred to as "Yangda", is located in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a university jointly established by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the Ministry of Education. In 1952, when the national colleges and departments were adjusted, the whole system of literature, history and agriculture was moved to Yangzhou, laying the foundation for Yangzhou Teachers College and Jiangsu Agricultural College. Approved by the State Education Commission in 1992, Yangzhou University was established by merging Yangzhou Teachers College, Jiangsu Agricultural College, Yangzhou Engineering College, Yangzhou Medical College, Jiangsu Water Conservancy Engineering College, and Jiangsu Commercial College.
