Southeast University (Southeast University), referred to as "Dongda", is located in Nanjing. In 1921, National Southeast University was established. In 1952, colleges and departments were adjusted, and the school’s departments of arts and sciences were moved out. The former School of Engineering of Central University was the main body, and it was merged into related departments of Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Jinling University, etc., and established at the original site of National Central University. Nanjing Institute of Technology resumed its name as Southeast University in 1988. In 2000, it merged with the original Nanjing Railway Medical College, Nanjing Communications College, and Nanjing Geological School to form a new Southeast University.
