Bohai University

Bohai University, referred to as "Boda", is located in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, a famous historical and cultural city on the coast of Bohai Sea. It is a comprehensive university organized by the Liaoning Provincial People's Government. The school is an institution with the qualifications to recommend outstanding fresh undergraduate graduates to study for a master's degree without examination and a training institution for foreign students coming to China with Chinese government scholarships. Bohai University was founded in February 1950. It was established on April 5, 2000 through the merger of Jinzhou Teachers College and Liaoning Commercial College. The school is tentatively named Jinzhou Teachers College. In April 2003, Jinzhou Teachers College was renamed Bohai University. As of November 2022, the school covers an area of more than 2,250 mu, with a total construction area of 600,000 square meters and a collection of 2.93 million books; it has 20 secondary colleges and 53 undergraduate majors; it has 18 first-level disciplines with master's degrees There are more than 1,200 full-time teachers, including more than 200 professors and more than 450 doctors; nearly 23,000 full-time graduate students and undergraduate students; agronomy, chemistry, control science and engineering, computer science and 4 disciplines of technology have entered the top 1% of global ESI disciplines.
