Fujian Normal University

Fujian Normal University is a comprehensive university with a history of one hundred years and a glorious tradition. It was founded in 1907 and is one of the earliest normal universities. The university has a total of more than 30,000 students, with nearly 100 undergraduate specialties, nearly 200 master specialties, and more than 100 doctoral specialties. It has formed a multi-disciplinary pattern of coordinated development of liberal arts, history, philosophy, science, engineering, teaching, economics, law, management, agriculture, arts and other disciplines and a complete talent training system of bachelor, master and doctor. Fujian Normal University is a demonstration base for students studying in China and a China-Asean education and training center. It is qualified to receive Chinese Government scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarship and Fujian Provincial Government scholarship. Since 1984, the school has accepted more than 10,000 foreign students from more than 40 countries such as Japan, South Korea, the United States, Britain, France, Indonesia, Thailand and overseas students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to study in the school, and has trained a large number of Chinese teachers for Southeast Asia and neighboring countries. The university offers bachelor's degree programs in Chinese language and master's degree programs in Chinese Language Education as well as HSK test centers for foreign students. The Chinese teaching and Chinese teacher training of the school is very distinctive. Multimedia classrooms, scene classrooms, microclassrooms and immersive teaching are used to rapidly improve students' Chinese level and Chinese communicative competence.
